Why: Hank Largin is in his 7th year as a Communications Specialist for the St. Johns River Water Management District in the Orlando market. He came to the District after spending 15 years in media relations on the university level. Prior to relocating to central Florida, Largin had spent the previous six years at the University of Louisiana at Monroe, serving as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications. He has also served on the media staffs at Louisiana Tech University and the University of Nebraska.
Some of Hank’s District responsibilities include serving as the liaison between the District and select groups such as the media, advisory councils and other agencies, serving as a writer for District publications, and representing the District as a speaker.
Hank and his wife Kim reside in Ocoee with their two children, Madeline age 15, and Jack, age 13.
