Matt Scott

Morgan Stanley

Matt joined Morgan Stanley in 2004 as an Intern while a finance and economics undergraduate at the University of Central Florida. Upon graduating with a B.S. in Business Administration, he advanced to become a Financial Advisor. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Matt was Co-Founder of Tri-Star, a Florida based home-service company.
Matt currently serves as Vice President for the Orlando Young Professionals Leadership Group, is a member of the Downtown Orlando Partnership and a regular volunteer with Ronald McDonald House, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Alzheimer’s Resource Center and STOP! Children’s Cancer.
He is a former director of Subversion Records, once the second largest record company in Florida, and Information Technology Specialist for Campus USA Credit Union. While at UCF, Matt served as President of the Financial Management Association and held various leadership/board positions for the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Inter-Fraternity Council and College of Business Administration Collegiate Council.

Jason, originally from Stuart, Florida, graduated from the University of Florida in 2007. Upon graduation, he joined Vestal and Wiler, CPAs in the tax services department. Since moving to Orlando, Jason has been active in the community supporting the Central Florida Gator Club and Junior Achievement.

Joel Goldstein

Joel Goldstein, nominated at age 24 for SCORE entrepreneur of the year, is a professional speaker, author and consultant. He has been featured on television, newspapers and magazines as an expert in Internet marketing strategies.

He adopts a “Work Hard, Play Harder” lifestyle approach that was guided by role models such as Rolf Potts and Tim Ferriss..He runs a multinational firm from wireless locations worldwide, and has been a popular guest lecturer at University of Central Florida, where he presents entrepreneurship as a tool for ideal lifestyle design and world change..

Joel is an active philanthropist for education and has dedicated his time to organizations such as Junior Achievement, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and DonorsChoose.org – an educational non-profit and winner at Fast Company’s 2008 Social Capitalist Awards.

Since his debut presentation on Social Media for Professionals in Winter Park Florida, Joel has been invited to the masters’ program at Harvard School of Business to pursue a higher education. With a certificate in management from the Wharton School of Business, Joel has been able to apply managerial principles from classroom to boardroom.

Fred Thibodeaux

Fred Thibodeaux is a native Floridian originating in Pensacola Florida where he spent several years working for his family business in Advertising. He graduated from Pensacola Junior College and continued his education at the University of Central Florida where he studied Business Management and Marketing. After graduating with is Bachelors Degree Fred began his career at a highly regarded Commercial Real Estate Firm as the research assistant to over fifteen brokers and sales associates.

He quickly rose through the ranks assuming the position of Marketing Coordinator and then to Property Management. The company has quickly grown and Fred now has chosen to return to his home in the Marketing aspect of the company developing new cutting edge advertising campaigns as the Head Marketing Coordinator.

Being a part of the community is also one of Fred’s many passions. He has played on many intramural sports teams and attends many of the local festivals, events, and participates in many philanthropy projects. Networking with Orlando Young Professionals has played a key role in Fred’s success leading him to the position of Website Developer and Events Coordinator with OYP.

Gabe Robertson

Gabe Robertson began working at Cuhaci & Peterson, Architects after graduating from the University of Virginia in 2000.  While working full time, he attended the University of South Florida and earned his Masters degree in 2004.  He is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Young Leaders Group and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

In his 10 years at C&P, Gabe has gained extensive experience in retail buildings, Publix shopping centers, multi-story office buildings, and large scale power centers.  He believes very strongly in the team concept, and he always puts forth the extra effort to work closely with clients, contractors, and consultants.  As a Project Manager and a newly licensed architect, Gabe approaches every project with enthusiasm and an intense desire to constantly learn and grow.
